Nestled within 150 acres of mature, protected woodland on the edge of Royal Tunbridge Wells, Knights Wood is a beautiful collection of modern family homes that has rapidly evolved into a popular destination in its own right.

The commuter’s location of choice

Knights Wood is a fantastic location from which to explore the local area and beyond, with London, the South Coast and even the Continent all easily accessible.

With the long-awaited upgrade of the A21 between Tonbridge and Pembury to dual carriageway now complete, residents of Knights Wood benefit from a vastly improved local road network, with access to the M25 in less than 15 minutes. Close proximity to the M25 means that London Gatwick (45 mins) and London Heathrow (80 mins) can be easily reached by car, as can Ebbsfleet International rail station (35 mins), from where direct high speeds trains can reach Brussels and Paris in around two hours.

For residents needing to travel to London for work, there are two railway stations near to Knights Wood – High Brooms and Tunbridge Wells. During the morning, there are up to six trains per hour to four mainline London stations, with journey times of around 45 minutes to London Bridge and 50 minutes to Charing Cross.

For those happy to walk or ride, High Brooms station is less than a mile from Knights Wood. To make the daily commute easier still, a shuttle bus service for residents operates daily between the Knights Wood Marketing Suite and High Brooms railway station. This weekday service commences at 6.00am, running every 20 minutes until 7.40am. In the evening, pick-ups from High Brooms station start at 6.00pm, running with the same frequency until 7.40pm. The fare for the service, which is operated by Compaid, is £1 each way for residents of Knights Wood, who are issued with an eligibility card to be presented to the bus driver. The fare for non-residents is £5 each way.

In a further boost for local residents, Centaur has announced it will be extending its popular commuter coach service to also stop at Knights Wood. The service will run to Canary Wharf and the City from Monday 9 April 2018.

Family homes availability now

At the time of going to press, there was an excellent mix of properties available to move into immediately at Knights Wood, including two, three and five bedroom modern family homes, from £369,000 with Help to Buy available on selected plots*.

Once these homes are sold, the next opportunity to buy at Knights Wood will be in September, when Phase Two of this rapidly evolving development will be released.
