Nestled within 150 acres of mature, protected woodland on the edge of Royal Tunbridge Wells, Knights Wood is a beautiful collection of modern family homes that has rapidly evolved into a popular destination in its own right.
Launched in 2014, Knights Wood was the first venture into Kent by award-winning property developer Dandara. Recognised for the style and quality of its new homes, Dandara has been winning industry awards for over thirty years. It differs from many developers by taking responsibility for each stage of the house-building process, from planning and design through to construction and marketing.
This approach has certainly proved successful at Knights Wood, which has claimed the ‘Best Residential Development’ accolade at the UK Property Awards on two separate occasions.
A 21st century development
Dandara has fostered a real sense of community at Knights Wood, which has grown to include a peaceful town square with a striking sculpture and water feature, plus a custom-built new school – Skinners’ Kent Primary School. These shared facilities will soon be completed by the first local shops at Knights Wood, which are expected to open during 2018.
Unsurprisingly, Knights Wood has provided extremely popular with a wide-range of purchasers, from first-time buyers and young families to investors and downsizers.
Tailored for Royal Tunbridge Wells
The homes at Knights Wood are a unique blend of stylish house-types, chosen to suit their picturesque surroundings and ensure a genuine ‘sense of place’. Inspired by traditional Kentish architecture, they are carefully crafted using a palette of local materials, including weatherboarding, brick and render.
Timber bollards, attractive trees and low planting add character, helping to enhance the street scene and slowing traffic. Parking is allocated for every property, including off-road parking and garages for many homes. Additional spaces are also provided for visitors.
Not only pleasing to the eye from the outside, a sense of understated style is apparent the minute you set foot inside any Dandara home – and Knights Wood is no exception.
Carefully appointed interior layouts are designed to meet the rigours of modern living and with variations on internal layout to choose from, every buyer can be confident of finding a home to suit their lifestyle. Each house type at Knights Wood has been designed to make the most of light and space, incorporating features such as generously proportioned living rooms with patio doors, plus master bedrooms in all three-bedroom properties with their own en-suites. Three-bedroom homes also come complete with fitted wardrobes in both the master and second bedrooms.
Comfort and style go hand in hand at Knights Wood, with individually-designed continental kitchens by Leicht with a full range of integrated appliances, beautiful contemporary bathrooms and en-suites and floor coverings come as standard. Buyers also have the peace of mind that comes with a 10 year structural warranty, a two year Dandara warranty and a dedicated Customer Care team.
