On Friday 12 September, the Mayor and Mayoress of the Borough of Tunbridge Wells, Cllr Julian Stanyer and Mrs Anne Stanyer, were the guests of honour at a VIP reception held to celebrate the official opening of Knights Wood, an exciting new development from Dandara of 550 new homes on the edge of the town.
The Mayor and Mayoress were shown around the stylish new Marketing Suite at Knights Wood by Susie Bennett, Sales and Marketing Director for the development and were impressed by a detailed site model and also a fabulous show unit that perfectly replicates the Bramling house style, one of the three-bedroom family homes available in the first phase.
Speaking to an audience that included many contacts from across the local business community, local authorities and the local media, Cllr Stanyer complimented Dandara on the success of Knights Wood to date and its positive impact on the local area, saying,
“If Tunbridge Wells is to continue to thrive and remain a great place to live, this is precisely the type of development that the town needs, attracting new people to the area and creating jobs for the local community.
Dandara has made a really significant contribution to the local area in terms of the road improvement scheme that is already underway, not forgetting the new Skinners’ Kent Primary School that will be built at Knights Wood and will be a really tremendous addition to the local education system.”
Speaking at the reception, Susie Bennett, Sales and Marketing Director of Knights Wood, said,
“With Tunbridge Wells being a new region and long-term business for Dandara, we are keen to make our mark and quality is at the forefront of everything we do. By taking advantage of the natural landscape and fantastic views, we feel that we are creating something special – and the response from the public has been fantastic.”
With prices from £360,000, the three-bedroom homes in the first phase at Knights Wood are selling fast. The Marketing Suite at Knights Wood is open seven days a week, from 10am to 5pm.
