Commuters living at Dandara’s stylish Knights Wood development in Tunbridge Wells can now enjoy an easier journey to work, thanks to the launch of a new shuttle bus service.
From Monday 6 June, a shuttle bus will operate on weekdays between the Knights Wood Marketing Suite and nearby High Brooms Railway Station. The daily service commences at 6.00am, running every 20 minutes until 7.40am. In the evening, pick-ups from High Brooms Station start at 6.00pm, running with the same frequency until 7.40pm.

Speaking about the new service, Susie Bennett, Dandara’s Sales Director for the South East said:
Knights Wood is a fantastic place to live if you commute to London for work but want to come home to peaceful woodland surroundings. We appreciate that commuting can be stressful at times, so we hope that the shuttle bus will help make the journey a little more agreeable for our residents.
The fare for the service, which is operated by Compaid, is £1 each way for residents of Knights Wood, who will be issued with an eligibility card to be presented to the bus driver. The fare for non-residents is £5.00 each way.
Compaid is the largest disability charity in the county, with its buses regularly seen in and around local towns and countryside.
For 30 years, Compaid has supported thousands of disabled and elderly people in and around Kent, helping them to overcome social, digital and economic exclusion and to become more active citizens in their local communities.
